I retired in 2015 from Fountain, Keat, Sanders, and Associates after a career of 40 years handling property and casualty insurance claims. Metro has been a wonderful stress reliever since I joined in January 1999. I still try to maintain at least a five day workout schedule per week. I like the no pressure, family atmosphere where you can do as little or as much as you want. I enjoy serving on the advisory board as this is another way the ownership and management attempts to make Metro the best it can be by listening to the recommendations of its members.
I am an electrical engineer with a passion for fitness. I’ve been a member of MetroFitness for two years, and I love the variety of group exercise classes, as well as the community environment. I serve on the board as a way to give back to the gym I love and to keep up-to-date on new programs being offered.
I work in Human Resources for Publications Press, Inc. and share a love for running and all things fitness. I love the instructors because they challenge, push and motivate you to do more than you think you can. I love the variety of classes offered and have made many friends at Metro that I see socially outside of the gym. I serve on the board because I want to help provide feedback to keep Metro Fitness “the” premier place in Montgomery to work out. I have been a member since January 2014.
I am a surgeon and also retired from the Navy. I have been a member at Metro for more than 10 years, and what a great time it has been! I love it here because of the family atmosphere and because they have the most professional and friendly staff you can ask for. I serve on the board because I want to play my part in trying to give back to a place that has been such an important part of my life.
