GROUPS & CAMPS

All of our trainers and group exercise staff hold nationally recognized certifications and are CPR-certified. Each trainer and group exercise instructor is asked to acquire continuing education hours so that MetroFitness remains your leading source for physical fitness.

All the services and offerings below are open to the public and do not require a membership to the club. A guest fee may apply depending on the service:

PERSONAL TRAINING

Our nationally certified trainers can make attaining your fitness goals smoother and more successful: A professional will help you set realistic short-term goals, and choose the best exercises for you to achieve them as quickly as possible. You will learn how to work each muscle group correctly and how to avoid injuries during a workout. A trainer will incorporate new routines periodically to keep your workout fresh and challenging. He or she will also keep you committed – you are less likely to skip an appointment or slide past a less favorite exercise. You’ll get the right dose of encouragement – try it and address on a one-on-one basis whatever fitness needs you might have!
MetroFitness offers hourly personal training sessions on a standard, advanced and elite level. Inquire for prices for 30-minute or 60-minute sessions – package deals are available.

GROUP TRAINING

Team training is designed to give a small group of people the benefits of individual personal training at a more affordable price. Exercise together with friends or family to increase the fun, feel the team spirit and ease the physical effort. MetroFitness offers these hourly training sessions for groups of 2 to 4 participants in 4, 6 and 12 session packages.
If you are interested in turning your favorite group exercise class into a private group class for friends or/and family, we are happy to assign a trainer and accommodate your timing preferences. You can also design your own workout with samplings of cycling, kickboxing, yoga or zumba and many other classes. You pick what you want to do. Get a group of 3 people and design the workout that fits your needs. You don’t have to wait for the scheduled group exercise class if that time does not fit into your diary. Speak to us, and for a nominal fee, you can create your own training that does not take place in the weight room.

Bootcamp

Metro’s Boot Camp is a unique and energetic fitness program. The camp is designed to assist you in achieving your fitness goals regardless of your fitness level. This program combines intense cardio, plyometrics, and strength training exercises to assist with building lean muscle, increasing stamina and endurance, and losing that stubborn body fat. This indoor/outdoor program provides a complete full body workout and pushes each participant out of ones comfort zone. Metro Fitness Boot Camp provides all the motivation and encouragement need for fitness success. Metro’s Boot Camp is open for both Metro members and non-members
