Big thanks to members and friends who supported our fundraiser event for The Family Sunshine Center

On Monday Metrofitness hosted a fiery Zumba dance party followed by an after-party which sparked great response amongst members, Zumba enthusiasts and donators. The donations are fully benefitting The Family Sunshine Center in Montgomery to support their mission in making homes save havens. Metrofitness would like to thank everyone who helped making this fundraiser a great success and a fun night.

Cheer & Dance classes for Cheerleaders and Wannabes

Only June & July at MetroFitness! Starting June 3rd, "Cheer and Dance" is calling on current and potential cheerleaders and dancers ages 12-18, who would like to learn cheering moves or like to extend and improve their repertoire. The class will focus on agility, power, endurance and flexibility wit hcherr specific fitness drills, dances and stretches. Buy a 10 classes punchcard doe 100$ or pay 15$ per class and choose between classes on Monday (10:45am), Wednesday (11:15am) and Saturday (10:00am) or take them all. Our instructor Hayden is going making it the fun and conditioning workout of the summer!

Kick off the week with HIIT IT 

High intensity intervall Training - short HIIT - pushes your cardio and strength capacities strong and fast. Join our instructor Todd every Monday morning 8:30am for your extra dose of HIIT. "HIIT IT" is our latest class entry among over 60 group exercise classes every week. Come and try it out for quick fitness results!

Hanging in the loop - with TRX Suspension

Burn mega calories first thing in the morning. Every Thursday 5:15am our TRX instructor Allison will guide you to develop a leaner, more athletic body. Hanging in TRX suspension loops, you will continuously work against gravity - a slow but intense exercise for core strength, balance and flexibility. This full-body workout will push you to your limits and gets you started for the day. Hurry - spaces are limited to 8 TRX suspension loops.

Slow down with Yin Yoga

Yoga is a great way to develop strength and flexibility while focusing on balance and relaxation. Therefore, Metrofitness offers a Yoga class every day of the week. Now new on the schedule: Yin Yoga for greater flexibility and balance. This class focuses on lengthening the connective tissue by holding certain poses up to 5 minutes at a time. Only 5-6 poses will be given per session. Our certified Yoga trainer Juliet will guide you through this  special body experience every second Wednesday of each month at 9.35am.
