Rock Steady Boxing
Rock Steady Boxing, a unique exercise program, based on training used by boxing pros, and adapted to people with Parkinson’s disease, will now be available in the Montgomery area. The program involves regular exercises, such as stretching, bicycling, running, jump-roping, push-ups, balancing and lots of non-contact boxing, led by experienced trainers/coaches. Rock Steady Boxing serves both men and women of all ages and levels of ability who are ready to FIGHT BACK AGAINST PARKINSON’S!
A class designed to improve balance, coordination, attention span, and overall quality of life for older individuals who find themselves unable to keep up with life’s everyday challenges. Active Aging will get you on your feet as well as keeping you on your feet.
Need someone to push you through your run? Then Metro Milers is just for you! Metro Milers is a small running group led by two profession runners. they will teach you about endurance, speed work and stretching. All fitness levels are welcome!

Kettlebell Ampd takes heart pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 60 minutes of calorie torching fun! A total body workout that focuses on arms, legs, core, and cardio.

P90x Live: Ultimate Muscle Confusion Workout!
We are proud to announce that starting in May we will be offering P90x Live! P90x utilizes different exercises to keep your muscles guessing! You will perform the exercises with bodyweight, free weights, or resistance bands. Modification exercises are also available! Check the May Group Fitness Schedule for times and dates!
Zumba: The Workout That Feels Like a Party
Party yourself into shape! Forget the workout and lose yourself in the music!You have heard about it, seen it on tv and maybe even taken a class or two.. come try the Zumba classes at Metro Fitness! Our Zumba instructors have over 20 years combined Zumba teaching experience! Zumba and Zumba Toning classes are FREE for Metro members. Guests to Metro can purchase a Zumba punchcard of 5 classes for $30 or 10 classes for $60. Just want to try the class out first before diving in to a punchcard? Join in all the fun for a $10 guest fee!
Booty Barre Plus at Metro
Booty Barre is a great new workout that fuses fitness techniques from Dance, Pilates and Yoga. This class will tone, define and chisel your whole body. Burn fat fast with our Booty Barre certified instructor Delisa on Tuesdays at 9:35am and Thursdays at 10:45am.
Turbo Kick for fun, fitness and stress release
Turbo Kick is an ultimate cardio challenge! Complete with warm up, bouts of intense intervals and easy to follow kickboxing combinations. This class will get your heart rate up and have you sweating! Turbo Kick is taught by Mary Katherine on Monday nights at 5:35pm and Tuesday mornings at 8:30am.
